The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors will partner with the IBM Academy of Technology and the Global Technology Community to provide a human face to some of the inventions that have contributed to global good.
The human mind has the potential to collaborate with others to creatively solve some of our most difficult problems. New technologies and techniques will emerge through the process of invention to yield a safer planet. In fact, new inventions and creative thinking is a prerequisite towards building bridges between humanity and the environment. The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors will discuss the state of inventing in the 21st century, and what are the necessary conditions to promote invention in various ecosystems (academia, industry, K-12/next generation).
