Ideas for Problem-Solving: From University to Invention to Entrepreneurship

Invention Ambassadors Huda Elasaad, Sanna Gaspard, Jason Kang, Diana Yousef participated in a panel moderated by alumni Ambassador Sorin Grama at the 2018 National Academy of Inventors Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on April 4, 2018. The panelists discussed how university environments can benefit the work of inventor-entrepreneurs, and what universities can do to better support the inventors that are a product of their programs.

The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors on this panel each started invention-based businesses to solve critical problems in society. From undergraduate to graduate school, university experiences have helped support their goals.
