AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassador Wows at the AAAS Annual Meeting

A series of “Flash Talks” at the AAAS annual meeting gave members a chance to get a quick earful on a subject they might not have caught during the event, or from a voice they might not otherwise have heard. The 10-minute talks covered topics ranging from new discoveries and tips for public engagement to how researchers’ personal stories shaped their careers. For Jason Grieves, one of the current crop of AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors, the talks are a way to spread the word about the work he’s doing as a senior program manager at Microsoft to help aid people with disabilities.
